Horse Museum

As part of an international competition organised by Bee Breeders Architecture, we envisaged the regeneration of the Omuli School in Latvia as a subtle dialogue between memory and the contemporary. Set within a 20th-century building, the competition entry sought a balance between heritage restoration and contemporary interventions, where every architectural gesture revealed the history without freezing it in time.

Conceived as a place for knowledge-sharing and creativity, Horse museum was to house exhibition spaces, workshop areas, artist residencies and even a sauna – a nod to Latvian culture- forming a hybrid programme in which the present blends naturally with the past.
