The surroundings
The surroundings
Among the architect’s missions, the design of the surroundings is probably the most unknown. It nevertheless requires special attention and a precise anticipation of the users’ experience in every season. Because if the surroundings have as first quality to highlight the architectural object, they are also at the forefront of the concerns of access, maintenance and visibility. The vegetation, but also the ground covers, accesses and car parks are the major components.

Landscaping
Landscaping encompasses a multitude of positions in private and public development. From the ground plan stage, the main landscaping lines are part of and accentuate the axes of the project, be it a particular building or an urban ensemble. It can be access, plantations or equipment. They allow to punctuate a project in length or height.
The Belgian-Dutch landscape architects PUUR share the values we hold dear. Our numerous collaborations allow to reach a level of study and realization of very high standard. The goal is to combine the freedom of nature with the mastery of pure lines. http://www.puurgroen.nl/

Plantations
Inevitably, architecture shapes the landscape with the discretion of each architectural firm. Generally, the architect organizes the vegetation in reinforcement of the architecture. The species are then selected for their color, size, transparency, membership of a stratum or region. But it is also possible to accommodate an existing environment, and to articulate the building delicately. This is particularly the case for projects located in the heart of a forest or an orchard.

Alleys and gates
Aesthetics and safety do not always mix. By integrating early approaches in the creation process, the architecture adapts the details of the project in such a way as to discreetly and effectively integrate the notions of accessibility, visibility, recoil on the road or slippage.

A good project will be then able to work without the addition of unsightly accessories outside.
